Rogue House Democrat Will Again Force Trump Impeachment Vote

Democratic Rep. Al Green plans to force a vote on impeaching President Donald Trump before Christmas, once again putting House Democrats on the record about what some have seen as an ill-timed effort while they’re in the minority.

Green said he’ll introduce articles of impeachment as privileged, meaning the House will have to either vote on the motion directly or vote to neutralize it. Green’s last effort to impeach Trump died in June when 128 Democrats voted with Republicans to table the motion.
