Sanders Urges Autism Hearing After RFK Jr. Vaccine Changes

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is pressing for a hearing focused on the science of autism, a repudiation of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s promotion of a widely rejected theory that vaccines can cause autism during his tenure leading Health and Human Services.

“The reality is that since Secretary Kennedy has been in office, he has continued his longstanding crusade against vaccines and his advocacy of conspiracy theories that vaccines cause autism – all of which have been repeatedly rejected by scientists,” Sanders wrote in the letter to Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee Chair Bill Cassidy.
