Schumer Says Senator Bob Menendez Should Resign

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says New Jersey Democrat Bob Menendez should resign after being convicted by a jury at a corruption trial.

“In light of this guilty verdict, Senator Menendez must now do what is right for his constituents, the Senate, and our country, and resign,” Schumer says in a statement
