Many of President Donald Trump’s proposed cuts to clean energy and science programs would be rejected under bipartisan spending legislation appropriators released Monday.
The Energy and Water funding measure brings lawmakers closer to averting a shutdown by the Jan. 30 deadline and underscores the need for bipartisan buy-in to any deal despite Trump’s proposed budget cuts.
