The artificial intelligence fever sweeping Washington is attracting yet another slew of business, technology and labor leaders to Capitol Hill to talk regulation.
Officials from Microsoft Corp., Accenture PLC, and Mastercard Inc. on Wednesday morning will attend a closed-door Senate forum examining AI’s impact on the American workforce. In the afternoon, senators will host representatives from Alphabet Inc.'s Google, Capital One, and AI companies Hugging Face, Upstart, and Clearview AI, to discuss areas such as health care and finance, where the emerging technology could inflict major harm.
