Senators will hold committee votes next week on its first three annual spending bills, funding programs for veterans, rural development, and Congress itself, members announced Wednesday.
The full Senate Appropriations Committee will mark up its Agriculture-FDA, Legislative Branch, and Military Construction-VA bills Thursday, July 11, according to the panel. Members will also vote on a full slate of top-line allocations for all 12 fiscal 2025 government-funding bills. Those three bills will be the first funding measures released by the Senate. The panel hasn’t announced any plans for subcommittee markups for the three bills.
