The Senate Finance Committee expects to vote on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s nomination to lead the Department of Health and Human Services next week, the panel’s chair said in a brief interview Wednesday.
The vote will “probably be next week,” Sen. Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) told Bloomberg Government, adding he’s pushing for a Senate floor vote “as soon as possible after that.”
The committee is in charge of advancing the nomination to a chamber-wide vote. The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee is also scheduled to hold a hearing Thursday to question the HHS pick.
