Senate Seeks Path on Appropriations Bills: Congress Tracker

After months of fighting partisan battles, the Senate is now trying to find a way to come together to fund federal agencies.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) said early on in this Congress that he wanted to move more appropriations bills through regular order. To do that, he will need Democrats on his side. This week will be an early test of whether he can pull that off.
