Senators Call for Hearing Into Boeing 737 Max After Blowout (1)

The Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee should hold a hearing on the safety of Boeing‘s 737 MAX aircraft after the recent midair fuselage blowout on an Alaska Airlines plane, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) said.

“Every American deserves a full explanation from Boeing and the FAA on what’s gone wrong and on the steps that are being taken to ensure another incident does not occur in the future,” Vance, a member of the panel, said in a statement Tuesday.
