Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) met with the vice president of El Salvador Wednesday as he pushed for the release of an immigrant wrongly deported from Maryland to the country’s most notorious prison. He was rebuffed in seeking the man’s release.
He was also denied a chance to meet with or speak to the detained man, Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
