US senators are trying to compel Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to turn in details of an Iranian girls’ school bombing during the opening strikes of the US-Israel war against Tehran by threatening to restrict three-quarters of the Pentagon chief’s travel budget.
The demand is included in the Senate’s draft defense authorization measure alongside a long list of requirements, including the release of full and unedited videos of US strikes against alleged drug boats in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
