Key senators are pressing Secretary Marco Rubio to tap congressionally-approved funds to fulfill the US pledge to support global vaccination campaigns.
Appropriators overseeing the State Department said it has access to $600 million over two fiscal years to support Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. That international public-private partnership helps to vaccinate children in some of the world’s poorest countries.
