Southern Command Seeks to Boost Use of Palantir’s Maven System

US Southern Command that’s been leading the strikes on alleged drug boats in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific Ocean is seeking to increase its use of Palantir Technology Inc.‘s Maven Smart System, budget documents sent to Congress show.

Southern Command is asking Congress for an additional $3 million, separate from its fiscal year 2027 budget request, for the Maven Smart System in order to “support increased mission sets,” according to documents sent to Capitol Hill and obtained by Bloomberg Government.
