Space Shuttle Move from Virginia to Texas Makes GOP Tax Bill

The Space Shuttle Discovery could soon make another journey — but this time not in outer space.

Language geared at moving a historic space shuttle from Virginia to Texas is tucked into Senate Republicans’ 940-page tax and spending bill (H.R. 1). Earlier versions of the proposed language had faced challenges under the Byrd Rule that limits policies not tied to budget savings.
