A national mid-decade redistricting war sparked by President Donald Trump’s demand for more Republican House seats is escalating and widening.

The commonwealth push begins later Monday with the Democratic-led state legislature set to reconvene in Richmond to begin a multi-stage process to amend the state constitution and redraw House districts more to their party’s advantage.
