Lawmakers will be working to pass within the next two weeks a newly released aviation bill with major policy changes aiming to alleviate air travel woes and boost the federal workforce.
The long-awaited compromise bill, released early Monday, would authorize more than $105 billion for the Federal Aviation Administration through fiscal 2028, with funds for the agency to hire more staff, modernize equipment and improve airports.
