Tech Startups Urge Trump to Put AI Standards at Top of Agenda

A coalition of small technology companies is urging the Trump administration to continue some Biden-era artificial intelligence policies that hang in the balance.

The US should lead the rest of the world in evaluating advanced AI models and setting standards for the emerging technology, the so-called AI Innovators Alliance wrote in a letter Thursday to Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and President Donald Trump‘s AI and crypto czar David Sacks. Signees included 20 tech startups, led by Americans for Responsible Innovation, an AI policy advocacy nonprofit based in Washington.
