Todd Young, Key Swing Vote, May Doom Iran War Powers Resolution

Republican Todd Young, a key swing vote in the Senate, said Wednesday he’ll vote against a war powers resolution, essentially dooming the Democrats’ efforts to put an end to military operations in Iran.

“The United States and our allies are now in conflict with a brutal, hostile, and dangerous regime,” Young (Ind.) said in a statement.” I believe that danger will only grow if we limit the President’s military options at this critical moment. An abrupt disengagement could pose increased risks to American lives and interests.”
