Top 20: Agencies Push Billion-Dollar Enterprise Health Care Bids

Two enterprise-scale opportunities estimated to serve more than 150 million Americans would modernize government health service delivery as health care costs rise and federal agencies move to consolidate contracts around commercial solutions.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ National Education Campaign (NEC) and the Veterans Affairs Department’s Virtual Face-to-Face Network (VF2F) are likely to attract bids from some of the nation’s most advanced, health-focused IT and marketing vendors. The broad scopes and high award ceilings at stake could stimulate industry mergers and acquisitions.
