House Republicans are pushing back against Donald Trump’s felony conviction, and the coming weeks will test how far they’re willing to go.

Upcoming proposals — some as soon as this week — would retaliate against the Justice Department, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and the conviction itself, which was prosecuted by New York state.
