A federal agency that supports economically struggling communities across the country is targeted for elimination under a Trump draft budget proposal.
The document, which is not yet final, recommends getting rid of the Economic Development Administration, an agency within the Commerce Department that Congress reauthorized last year for the first time in two decades with sweeping bipartisan support.
