More than $400 billion in government funding is in limbo, canceled or frozen by President Donald Trump’s administration, as the end of the fiscal year approaches, Democratic lawmakers estimate.
Top House and Senate Appropriations Committee Democrats released an updated estimate Monday morning identifying $412 billion in federal funds they say the administration has blocked. The amount includes local emergency grants, broadband funds, and transportation spending, among other programs.
