President Donald Trump is passing on asking Congress for a second reconciliation package, saying Republicans got all they needed in a massive tax-and-spending law he signed into law earlier this year.
“We don’t need it because we got everything in it,” Trump said. “This was supposed to be 17 bills. I think it was my idea but with the concurrence of people that have done this a long time. I said why don’t we make it one bill because it’s very hard to get things approved by the Democrats and it worked out because there was something good for everybody.” ...
