Trump Seeks to Ease Gas-Price Anxieties as Democrats Ramp Up Ads

President Donald Trump is seeking to allay growing anxiety about the economy as the White House carries on its military involvement in Iran and a tariff war with much of the rest of the world.

The two conflicts have caused global disruptions, but the Trump administration announced on Thursday it’s pressing forward with more tariff policies, and the president only set a vague timeline for drawing down in Iran during his speech Wednesday.
