Trump Plans Record $1.01 Trillion National Security Budget (1)

President Donald Trump will request a record $1.01 trillion in national security spending for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, more than 13% over the current year’s figure, according to administration officials familiar with the matter.

The defense budget will fund the Golden Dome missile defense project, shipbuilding and nuclear modernization, border security among its top priorities. It includes a 3.8% military pay raise.
