Corporate and lobbying interests, grappling with soaring policy risks in Washington, will pay a premium to scoop up exiting Trump 2.0 officials who are looking to decamp for the private sector.

Given President Donald Trump’s aggressive policy proposals and his easing of revolving-door rules, strategists with recent experience in his administration are highly sought by K Street and the influence industry, lobbyists and government relations headhunters say. They can command salaries ranging from the high six figures to more than $1 million.
