President Joe Biden and his immigration officials spent much of their first year in office undoing the strict border and migration policies established under Donald Trump. Fast forward four years, and the reverse will be true as Trump returns to the White House.

Trump has pledged to crack down swiftly on the US-Mexico border, including curbing asylum, deporting millions of people in the US without authorization, and restarting wall construction that Biden largely paused.
