US Approves Possible $228m Spare Aircraft Parts Sale to Taiwan

US State Department has approved a possible foreign military sale to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States (TECRO) for ~$228 million, according to a statement.

• TECRO requested to buy return, repair, and reshipment of classified and unclassified spare parts for aircraft and related equipment
• Congress has been notified of the possible sale
