US Chamber Reveals $100 Million to Boost Policy, Courts Agenda

The US Chamber of Commerce, the nation’s biggest-spending lobbying group, said Thursday a $100 million contribution would expand a multiyear state and federal free-enterprise policy and litigation effort.

The donation was the largest the Chamber has ever received and came from a donor who requested anonymity. None of the funds will be used for election-related activity or general operating expenses, the group said in a news release. Instead, the $100 million will go to the Chamber’s “New Fight for Free Enterprise” initiative focused on state, federal, and courts advocacy.
