US Should Probe 6 China Firms for Iran Support: GOP Lawmakers

Republicans on the House Select Committee on China ask the US Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control to investigate six Chinese companies for their support of Iran’s military and energy sectors in a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, according to a statement.

• Lawmakers ask OFAC to probe China North Industries Group Co., Ltd., Aviation Industry Corporation of China, China Ocean Shipping Co., Ltd., China National Offshore Oil Corporation, CRRC Corporation Limited and China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation
