Vance Chief to Depart Vice President’s Office by End of Summer

Vice President JD Vance‘s chief of staff Jacob Reses will leave his role by the end of summer, marking the latest high-profile staff member to depart from the Trump administration.

Reses has worked for the vice president since Vance’s successful Senate campaign in 2022, and has been his top aide in the administration since Vance and President Donald Trump took office in January 2025.
