Vance Interview on Epstein Response Sought by Oversight Democrat

The top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee wants Vice President JD Vance to come before the panel to discuss his role in the administration’s response to the Epstein files.

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) said Thursday morning that he planned “in the next 24 hours” to ask Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) to bring Vance in following new reporting by the New York Times. Multiple current and former officials, including ex-Attorney General Pam Bondi, have appeared for interviews with the Oversight Committee over the highly scrutinized release of government files related to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
