John Martin joined Barnes & Thornburg as a partner in the corporate department in Chicago, the firm announced Thursday.
Martin advises public and private companies, private equity firms, and high net-worth individuals on M&A transactions and helps clients navigate complex regulatory requirements. He counsels businesses on mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and restructuring, financing transactions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance in sectors including manufacturing, supply chain, industrial, banking, financial services and technology, the firm said.
He joins from Chapman and Cutler.
