Geoffrey Starks joined Latham & Watkins as a partner in its connectivity, privacy & information practice in Washington, DC, the firm announced Tuesday.
Starks served as Democratic Commissioner at the Federal Communications Commission from 2019 to 2025, overseeing proceedings and initiatives affecting telecommunications, broadband deployment and subsidy programs, spectrum allocation and policy, wireless and satellite licensing, privacy and data security, and artificial intelligence. He previously served as assistant chief of the FCC’s enforcement bureau, the firm said.
