Latham & Watkins, Kirkland & Ellis and Cooley LLP are at the top of the wish list for associates considering switching firms, according to a new Chambers survey.
Most associates noted compensation, culture, and training or development opportunities as key factors in deciding what firm they’d like to move over to. Survey respondents said they were most convinced to leave when firms under-deliver on culture, which may include mentorship, collaboration and support. Two- to four-year associates proved to be the biggest flight risk for law firms, according to the report.
