Verizon-Frontier Deal OK’d With Changes
Verizon had to make several concessions to get the green light on its deal to acquire Frontier Communications’ California operations.
The California Public Utilities Commission’s yearlong review of the deal faced a roadblock in May when Verizon announced it would scrap its diversity, equity, and inclusion programs after pressure from the Federal Communications Commission and state regulators.
