Health Net, California Reach $40m Misleading Claims Settlement

California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced a settlement with Health Net over misleading consumers with inaccurate provider directories includes a $12m payment and about $28.5m in significant changes to ensure the accuracy of provider directories.

• The settlement also resolves the 2021 lawsuit filed by the San Diego City Attorney’s Office against Health Net
• NOTE: In Feb., HNFS, Centene to Pay $11.3m to Resolve Cybersecurity Claims
