Zeeshan “Zee” Ahmedani joined Proskauer as a partner in its private funds group in Los Angeles, the firm announced Tuesday.
Ahmedani advises investment managers and sponsors on the formation and operation of private investment funds in the U.S. and internationally, across private equity, real estate, hedge, distressed, hybrid and Shari’ah-compliant funds. He represents managers, placement agents and sponsors on capital formation and provides counsel on the establishment of management companies and compensation arrangements, the firm said.
He joins from A&O Shearman, according to his LinkedIn profile.
