Sacramento lawmakers have just days left to consider several major bills culled by the legislative appropriations panels last week.
The state Assembly and Senate appropriations committees voted on hundreds of measures from their suspense files Friday, passing and significantly changing several key pieces of legislation. Legislators have until Sept. 12, when they adjourn for the year.
