President Donald Trump signed an order aimed at thwarting state-level regulation of artificial intelligence through lawsuits and funding cuts, handing a win to tech industry leaders who’ve pressed for preemption of local rules, Skylar Woodhouse, Emily Birnbaum, and Hadriana Lowenkron report.
