Christopher Mendez joined Akerman LLP as a partner in its corporate practice group in New York, the firm announced Wednesday.
Mendez advises investment managers and institutional investors on complex fund formation, transactional, and regulatory matters across the alternative investment landscape. He regularly advises global and US-based investment advisers on the launch and management of complex fund platforms spanning credit, hedge fund, private equity, and real estate strategies, the firm said.
He joins from Crowell & Moring, according to his LinkedIn profile.
