HSBC’s Top IPO Banker in Saudi Arabia Is Said to Depart for PJT

HSBC Holdings Plc’s head of equity capital markets in Saudi Arabia is set to leave, according to people familiar with the matter, marking another setback for the lender as it undergoes a sweeping overhaul.

Ramez Halazun will join advisory firm PJT deNovo and lead its push into regional capital markets, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing private information. The unit was formed last year, when investment bank PJT Partners Inc. agreed to acquire Dubai-based deNovo Partners.
