Lightspeed Venture Partners investor Michael Mignano, notable for bets on consumer-facing artificial intelligence companies, is leaving the firm to join New York-based Union Square Ventures.
In his three years at Lightspeed, he led the firm’s early bets on companies like AI music generation startup Suno and AI notetaking company Granola, and worked on its investments in Elon Musk’s xAI and Neuralink.
