Meta Accountant, Ex-Yahoo CFO Join Audit Board Advisory Groups

Meta Platforms Inc.’s head of reporting and accounting policy and the former CFO of Yahoo Inc. are among newly named members of a pair of bodies that advise the US audit watchdog.

The corporate accountants join a slate of officials tapped to serve on two advisory groups of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, the US audit regulator said Friday. The panels advise the board created by the 2002 Sarbanes-Oxley Act to oversee audits of public companies.
