Vestas in Shadow of Orsted Share Sale: EMEA Earnings Week Ahead

Danish wind-turbine companies Vestas Wind Systems A/S and Orsted AS report earnings as they contend with the US administration’s backlash against renewable energy and President Donald Trump calling their windmills “ugly” and “very inefficient.”

Orsted is seeking to tap investors for up to 60 billion Danish kroner ($9.4 billion) in an attempt to steady the wind park builder’s finances in response to the White House’s policies.
