Vietnam’s economy likely expanded 8.22% from a year earlier in the third quarter, driven by 10% growth in the manufacturing sector, according to Finance Minister Nguyen Van Thang.
Growth in the January-September period is expected to be 7.84%, Thang said in a post on the government website. Consumer prices rose 3.38% in September, according to the minister’s estimates.
