A fired Black construction foreman in Louisiana hasn’t shown that his complaints about unfair treatment were related to his race, a federal judge ruled, rejecting his bias suit.
Keithen R. Landry failed to establish claims against CB&I LLC under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 or the Americans with Disabilities Act, said Judge Alexander C. Van Hook of the US District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. The judge granted summary judgment to the company and permanently dismissed Landry’s case.
