Deloitte Targets CPA Barriers for Black, Latino Students

Deloitte LLP has pledged $30 million to help hundreds of Black and Latino students cover the extra year of school they will need to qualify for their CPA license.

The scholarships are part of a broader $75 million effort to close the diversity gap in the accounting profession by targeting barriers that keep Black and Latino students from pursuing their license—a key to unlocking a career in tax or auditing.
