Florida DOR Issues Negotiated Rulemaking on Value Adjustment Board Proceedings

The Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) is proposing amendments to several rules regarding Value Adjustment Board (VAB) proceedings related to property tax assessments. Proposed changes include new requirements for evidence exchange in Value Adjustment Board (VAB) hearings, an increase in the maximum filing fee for petitions, and the introduction of remote hearing options using electronic equipment.
