Japan, Armenia Agree in Principle on Draft DTA

The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oct. 16 announced an agreement in principle on a draft DTA with Armenia. The new agreement will replace the 1986 DTA and protocol between Japan and the Soviet Union, as applied to Armenia, but won’t affect the existing agreement as applied between Japan and countries other than Armenia.
